The beginning of a new year means a lot of things to a lot of different people, it means the beginning of a new chapter and a new book all together. The time for New Years resolutions to be made and broken!
To me a new year is a opportunity to reflect on your life and to appreciate the amazing experiences and opportunities you’ve had and to make the most of them. It’s a time to dream of new adventures and possibilities that are on their way!
I’ve never really been one for making resolutions that I will most definitely break. I believe that if you want to make a change in your life why should it wait for January 1st or for a Monday. Life is made to be lived in the now.
If I have any message or little thought for this new year is to start appreciating every second you have and to stop waiting for the ‘right time’.
For this new year all I am hoping for is more love in my life than I can handle. Ridiculous amounts of happiness.
To finish my degree obviously.
And to just live in every moment I am given.
It all sounds very Pinteresty – like a cliche quote surrounded by flowers, but life should be a cliche quote.
We are only given a very limited amount of moments to be happy. Why should anyone of them be ruined by unhappy words and thoughts.
Just a reminder that you have not wasted a year because it has been hard or because it didn’t turn out like you planned. Every year will be hard, every year will have its moments when you think it could not be worse. But from those moments we need to realize that we were strong and we made it through. We need to recognize the people in our lives who were there for us and who helped us through.
My New Years resolution is to stop making resolutions and to make goals. That are realistic and attainable. I really hope everyone has had the most amazing introduction into 2019 and I hope the year ahead is everything you ever hope for!
